Image Comics Sheds Light On Batgirl Team Reunion Motor Crush

The creative team that brought fans the popular Batgirl of Burnside refresh for the iconic Barbara Gordon is now reuniting on a new book for Image Comics called Motor Crush, and it looks to be just as addicting as their last outing together.

Brenden Fletcher, Cameron Stewart, and Babs Tarr are taking on their first creator-owned project, and it all starts with a character named Domino Swift. Swift is part of a motorcycle racing league, but she also utilizes her skills while the city sleeps, fighting for supremacy against other biker gangs, but also for control over a substance called Crush.

"Something magic happens when Cameron, Babs and I make comics together," said Fletcher. "We felt it when working on Batgirl and it's there on every neon-soaked page of Motor Crush. We're so fortunate to be able to continue this journey together as colleagues and friends. Motor Crush is the culmination of everything we've been working toward."

Stewart added: "Motor Crush showcases our team at full throttle, working the way we want to produce a comic that's unlike anything you've seen from us before!"

Tarr's vibrant artistic style is back in rare form on Motor Crush, and she warns readers to "Hold on tight. It's gonna be one wild ride!!"
