There are people who look good, and then there are people who look godly. Thor: Ragnarok star Chris Hemsworth is the latter. Professionally.
Hemsworth has been playing Thor, the Asgardian God of Thunder, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for five years now. He debuted in Thor in 2011, assembled with his fellow heroes in Marvel's The Avengers in 2012, battled Dark Elves in Thor: The Dark World in 2013, and rejoined his teammates in 2015 for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Hemsworth is currently filming Thor: Ragnarok in his home of Australia. Hemsworth is apparently a fan of Australian rules football. He posted a photo to Instagram celebrating a victory by the Western Bulldogs club, and it shows off the kind of body a guy can have when he lifts an Uru metal hammer on a regular basis. Check it out below.
Hemsworth's Thor is definitely not a guy you want to pick a fight with after he's had a few pints of mead in the Hall of Asgard. Just don't do it.
Yesterday, actor Sam Neill revealed that he'd be reuniting with his Jurassic Park co-star Jeff Goldblum as part of the cast of Thor: Ragnarok.
In addition to Hemsworth, Neill, and Goldblum, Thor: Ragnarok also stars Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo. Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi, from a screenplay by Stephany Folsom.
Thor: Ragnarok will see Hemsworth's Thor and Ruffalo's Hulk teaming up for a cosmic adventure. The film will borrow elements from the "Planet Hulk" comic book story, including the Hulk's gladiatorial costume, seen below.
Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters Nov. 3, 2017.
