There's no denying that Amy Adams is a multi-talented actress, who has taken on a variety of different projects from engrossing dramas, hilarious comedies, science fiction, and now superhero films.

Even though her role as Lois Lane in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (theatrical cut) seemed a bit scattered, Adams was able to fully shine as an esteemed investigative journalist in the longer extended cut, just as she did in her performance in Man of Steel.

This was mostly due to the fact that audiences were able to connect the dots on what exactly Lois Lane was doing and why she was doing it. Her role was much more important than playing Superman's whiney muse.

We'll be seeing more of Amy Adams as Lois Lane in the upcoming DCEU movie Justice League as well as Arrival and Nocturnal Animals. In the video above, she discusses her own personal take on becoming each character.

When speaking about Lois Lane in Justice League, Adams explained that although she plays the same character, her purpose is different in each DCEU movie:

"The most challenging part is playing the same character [Lois Lane] but with different requirements for each story. In Man of Steel the focus was Superman and our personal story...Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was to introduce Batman, while keeping Lois as a throughline...it's fun to get to be here."

As far as Justice League Adams said because the sets are so large that, "A lot of imagination is required on set, sometimes you have to pretend you're in a huge city...it's about completely getting lost in what we create."

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will release on November 17, 2017.
