If the entertainment in the last five years has been about one thing, it's bringing back beloved properties from the 80s and 90s. It seems like every show, movie, book, or comic that anyone has ever loved is getting re-made or revived.

Nickelodeon has jumped on the bandwagon as well, bringing back a few of their popular shows as TV movies. Legends of The Hidden Temple, Hey Arnold!, and Rocko's Modern Life will all see new content in the near future, and it makes you wonder which other series may get a new life.

The question on many people's mind, especially if you're a 90s kid; "Will they ever stop fooling around and bring The Rugrats back?!"

The Rugrats was a wildly popular cartoon in the 90s, and focused on a group of babies who adventured together. Led by the daredevil, Tommy Pickles, these friends lived out every baby's dream.

The show was so successful that it aired for 179 episodes, as well as spawned three feature films.

With a brand this popular, it wouldn't make sense not to bring it back. At a New York Comic Con panel for the Hidden Temple movie, Nickelodeon's VP of original movies, Michael Sammaciccia, said it wasn't out of the question.

In fact, he said many of the classic Nickelodeon properties were being considered for revival, not just Rugrats. See for yourself:

"What's happening with [Legends of the Hidden Temple] is that it's allowing Nickelodeon to look at the rich library they have, and not just Rugrats. All of them are being considered."

There you have it. If you have a favorite Nickelodeon show, chances are you may see it again, very soon.
