Ninjak and the rest of Valiant Entertainment's biggest characters are getting set to make their live-action debuts in Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe, a new Valiant Digital web series that will release online in 2017.

Michael Rowe (Arrow, The Flash) plays Ninjak, and he has his work cut out for him. Ninjak will run a gauntlet, battling the members of Valiant's premier superhero team, Unity. Among those members is the regenerating super soldier Bloodshot, played by Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).

Ninjak and Bloodshot are two of Valiant's most popular characters. During a visit to the set of Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe, ComicBook.com spoke to Rowe and Frank to find out what these two Unity members really think of each other.

"They respect each other, but I think each one thinks they have the other's number," says Rowe. "I think they didn't ever see a scenario where they'd get to see who would win in a fight. They're kind of relishing the moment to say, 'Alright, I've been thinking about you a lot. How I would take you out if it ever came to that. Now we're going to see who the better man is' I feel like there's a respect there.

"They're not friends by any means," Rowe continues. "I don't think they have any problem throwing down. I think they've been waiting for this moment. It's really so fun to see how, with somebody like Bloodshot, how do you defeat him? It seems like he's indestructible. We'll see. It's not going to be easy. Ninjak takes a beating in the meantime, but there's some real fun dynamics to that scene."

Frank implied that Bloodshot was mostly concerned with just being Bloodshot.

"I think Bloodshot's mentality is that he's Bloodshot," Frank says. "I don't think he'd let anyone stand in the way. When he doesn't like someone, you just need to step aside.

"I think Bloodshot and Ninjak are like old pals, but they're also not," Frank explains. "I don't want to say best of friends. Ninjak does a lot of joking around and when he says something, Bloodshot says, 'Yeah, right. Go back and eat your fish and chips. Whatever you got to do.'"

In Ninjak Colin King is Ninjak, MI-6's deadliest intelligence operative, and weapons expert. When the ruthless assassin Roku exploits his greatest weakness, Ninjak will be forced to betray his closest allies. Now, on the run, he must face off against the most powerful heroes known to man for a high-octane, take-no-prisoners trial by fire more perilous and more unpredictable than any he's faced before. In 2017, the world's most dangerous super-spy goes to war with the Valiant Universe…

Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe is produced by Aaron & Sean Schoenke of Bat in the Sun Productions (Super Power Beat Down) and written by Aaron Schoenke, Sean Schoenke, and Joe Harris. Ninjak Vs.
