The Walking Dead: 5 Predictions For The Day Will Come When You Won't Be
We all know that Negan is going to kill at least one of our favorite characters in the season [...]
Daryl Gets Saved
This may sound like a positive headline, but it is definitely not. Daryl won't be getting saved in the spiritual sense, but getting taken to the Sanctuary by Negan and the Saviors.
In the comics, Daryl obviously doesn't exist. Now that they need more story for his character, they will probably keep him with Negan for a bit.
Instead of Carl spending some time at the Sanctuary, the show will give that arc to Daryl in order to deeply explore his psyche.
Daryl thinks he is a total bad-ass, he always has, and getting put in his place by Negan could see him break a little bit. It may not be what people want to see, but it's an exciting turn for an otherwise boring character.
prevnextSpencer Starts A Mutiny
Spencer has never been a big fan of Rick, that's for sure. His parents were the leaders of Alexandria before he showed up, and the community had never suffered a dangerous incident until Rick's group settled in.
After the events of Negan's attack, Rick will already be under fire from his people. His plan is what got their friend (or friends) killed, and everyone is much less trusting of Rick's leadership.
Spencer, like he did in the comics, will attempt to spark a revolution against Rick.
Many residents of the communities will get behind Spencer's cause, but Negan won't be too hot on it.
If this story begins on the show, Spencer won't last much longer.
prevnextCarol Loses It
Carol is already in a fragile place at the end of season six, and she is only going to spiral further downward before it gets any better.
If you remember, Carol has become suicidal by now. She doesn't think her life has any value to anyone else, and her doubt in her abilities makes for an extremely damaged psyche.
This season, her story will begin with her and Morgan being found by soldiers from the Kingdom. While we know they are other good guys, Carol will be hesitant.
Look for Carol to freak out, either when she is taken by the soldiers or upon arriving at The Kingdom. She has a bad history with men, so this could set her off. It may even result in the death of one of the soldiers.
Luckily, Carol is with Morgan. They may not see eye-to-eye, but Morgan has keeps a cool head. His presence will be enough to calm her down.
prevnextEye For An Eye
Someone from Rick's group is going to die. Hell, there is a lot of info suggestion it may be more than one.
It's a fact we've come to accept as fans, but Rick and his people are not going to stand by for long. They won't make a move on Negan or Dwight, but look for someone to kill one of the other Saviors.
The most likely candidate here is Simon.
He's important enough to have a role as Negan's right hand, but that responsibility fell to someone else in the comics. For many issues, Dwight le
d the Saviors at Negan's side.
Getting rid of Simon will show some fight left in the surviviors, and it will set up Dwight to be the important character he is.
prevnextNegan Scars Rick
In the newest clip of the premiere, we can see Negan dragging Rick into his trailer and the door slamming shut. What happens after that, is still a mystery.
Many fans have theorized that Negan does a lot to mess with Rick, trying to break him. This happened often in the comics, and this scene could be the first step in that process.
One idea is that Negan removes Rick's hand in the trailer.
In the comics, Rick has his hand cut off by The Governor, and he is without it for most of the series. The show has avoided this so they wouldn't have to work around Andrew Lincoln's actual hands, but no one has ever said it was impossible.
The more likely scenario is Negan takes to emotionally scarring Rick. By talking about his past, Carl, and the person (or people) he just killed, Negan could really take this opportunity to screw up Rick just a little more.
