Hugh Jackman has shared a new black-and-white image from Logan, his third and final Wolverine solo film. It features one alarming question scrawled on what appears to be a stall in a public restroom: "WHERE ARE ALL THE MUTANTS?"

That question fits right in line with the plot details Umberto "El Mayimbe" Gonzalez of The Wrap shared just last week. According to him, in this new day and age (the film is set in the year 2024), mutant births have become very rare, though no reason was provided. For the young mutants are born, they are rounded-up and turned into lethal soldiers by Transigen, an evil government organization.

The film stars Hugh Jackman (X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Logan/Wolverine and Patrick Stewart (Star Trek: The Next Generation) as Charles Xavier/Professor X. The cast also includes Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl), Richard E. Grant (Game of Thrones), Stephen Merchant (Movie 43), Eriq La Salle (ER), Elise Neal (Scream 2), and Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black).

The film is being directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine), based on a script by Michael Green (American Gods) and David James Kelly (Mind Mgmt).

Logan is set for a March 3, 2017 release from 20th Century Fox.
