John Hamm and Gal Gadot are playing secret agents in their newest project Keeping Up with the Joneses, but when you have Wonder Woman in the room, the conversation will always move to superheroes at some point.

In a recent interview USA Today, the two were asked what side they were on regarding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Gadot had a hard time choosing, but Hamm went with another option altogether.

"Supermen or Batmen? You know who I was rooting for in that movie? The Aquaman."

"The Aquaman?" said Gadot. "He wasn't in that movie yet."

Hamm came right back and contested Gadot's statement using his best Charles Nelson Reilly impression. "Yes he was, he had a little tiny cameo, he was swimming toward camera."

Gadot acknowledged he was correct, and Hamm chalked it up to being a "sharp-eyed viewer". He then figured out who he would have played in DC's universe and said "You know who I'd play? Sharp-eyed man."

At this time there are no plans for a Sharp-Eyed Man adaptation, but DC and Warner Bros. would be foolish to not at least explore the opportunity that Hamm has presented.

The good news for Hamm is that Aquaman figures prominently into future plans for DC. The character will appear next in Snyder's Justice League and will be getting his own solo film in 2018 directed by James Wan. In addition to his fantastic comic series, things are looking quite good for the King of Atlantis.

Keeping Up With The Joneses hits theaters on October 20.

Justice League lands in cinemas on November 17, 2017.
