In the last episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Jemma Simmons (played by Elizabeth Henstridge) helped Quake with her wounds and, more importantly hack into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s server (to stop the Watchdogs) by passing along a flash drive to one of her underlings. She also learned that Fiz and Radcliffe have been secretively working on Aida, a Life Model Decoy. To keep all of that a secret from Director Jeffrey Mace, Simmons will have to pass a mandatory lie detector.
ABC has released the first sneak peek from the upcoming "Lockup" episode, and it features Simmons taking the lie detector and struggling to truthfully answer a question about obtaining sensitive information that she is obligated to report to the director. As she tries to stall, Director Mace walks in and tells her she needs to come with him right at that moment.
As Robbie Reyes struggles to control The Ghost Rider, S.H.I.E.L.D. infiltrates a high-security prison to unravel the secrets that haunt them all.
The regular cast features Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie.
The guest cast includes Jason O'Mara as Director Jeffrey Mace, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, Parminder Nagra as Senator Nadeer, Maximilian Osinski as Agent Davis, Patrick Cavanaugh as Burrows, Jose Zuniga as Eli Morrow, Kerr Smith as Joseph Bauer, James Edson as Warden Green, Ricardo Walker as Agent Prince, Sky Soleil as corrections officer, Rolando Molina as Santino, Brandon Keener as Harlan, Jermaine Jacox as ferocious watchdog, Lilli Birdsell as Lucy Bauer, Ward Roberts as Hugo, Usman Ally as Vincent, and Devin Barry as producer.
"Lockup" was written by Nora Zuckerman & Lilla Zuckerman and directed by Kate Woods.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was co-created by Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen (Dollhouse, Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog), who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell (Angel, Alias) and Jeph Loeb (Jessica Jones, Daredevil). Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
