When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are always looking forward to Stan Lee and his cameos. The iconic comic book writer is known for his various on-screen cameos in films like Iron Man, Thor, The Avengers, and more. With dozens of appearances under his belt, it would surely be hard for Lee to pick out which cameo has been his favorite. However, there is apparently one which sticks out to the writer above all the rest.

In a recent interview with The Tomorrow Show, Lee was asked whether he had a favorite MCU cameo to which he answered yes. The writer confessed his favorite role was in Avengers: Age of Ultron when Thor gifted him a bit of Asgardian mead.

"They were all fun to do, but mine is the one when I'm with Thor and he's drinking something," Lee said. "I ask for a drink and he says, 'No, it's too strong for you.' But I insist, and he gives it to me. In the next scene, they're dragging me away. I'm saying, 'Excelsior!'"

The actor continued, explaining the reason why he was so fond of his drunkard role. "The reason that's my favorite is that it's the only one with two scenes. So, let that be a hint to the directors from now on. I want a couple of scenes."

In the past, Lee has repeatedly said it is hard to pick a favorite cameo out of all the ones he has done. The creator told audiences at Denver Comic Con, "It's hard to pick my favorite cameo, because as you know, they're all masterpieces."

However, the writer also told fans at the convention that he did actually have a favorite appearance, but he wasn't able to talk about it yet because it hadn't aired yet. "Unfortunately, this will frustrate you a little: I have a favorite because I can't tell you what it is because it hasn't appeared yet....I had to go and do three cameos for three movies at the same time," he said.

At 93 years old, Lee clearly isn't slowing down with his on-screen cameos. The actor admitted he filmed three appearance during a recent trip in Atlanta. Kevin Feige, the Head of Marvel Studios, commented on Lee's superhuman stamina at a recent screening of Captain America: Civil War and said, "he was unbelievable."

"A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day -- for four various projects. They're all awesome! They're all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire. He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home."

As for where those cameos will appear, fans believe they'll be shown in films like Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Some believe the fourth project that Feige referenced might be for Thor: Ragnarok or even Avengers: Infinity War.

In the recent IMAX sneak preview of Doctor Strange, fans were teased with Lee's cameo. The easter egg saw the comic creator sitting in a bus reading Aldous Huxley's The Doors of Perception. However, his quiet reading time is interrupted when Doctor Strange and Mordo run smack into the bus as they chase after Kaecilius.

So, what do you think? Which of Stan Lee's cameos is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!
