The recent trend for the WWE has been to resuscitate their brand by bringing back legendary wrestlers. Rumors have been going around that the wrestling organization has plans to bring back a slew of other wrestlers, and there have been three names that have been dubbed the most likely to potentially return to the WWE.

Even though it's only been two months, at least one half of the Dudley Boyz has been igniting speculation about a return to the WWE. Bubba Ray has been sharing cryptic tweets hinting at a return to the ring with the WWE.

He recently posted a tweet that read, "Remember the Alamo," which could be a reference to a possible appearance at the 2017 Royal Rumble set to go down at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The widely held belief is that if Bubba Ray does return to the WWE, he would be coming back as his heel Bully Ray gimmick.

Another wrestler that had the Internet buzzing recently was Adam Rose, who has been wrestling as Aldo Rose on the independent scene. Many would be surprised to see Rose return so early in light of the fact that he did not have the most stellar year in 2016.

Rose was suspended from the WWE for the second time after violating the WWE Wellness policy. He also was arrested for domestic violence, which ultimately led to him being fired from the WWE.

However, he recently sent out a tweet that suggests that his relationship with the WWE may have been repaired.

Aldo Rose recently commented on the future of his career, and what got him suspended from the WWE.

"I am pretty sure this response will meet nowhere near the publicity that my suspension did and that this response is tantamount to career suicide," Rose posted. "But I feel for my sons my sister and rest of my family... you the [WWE] Universe have the right to the know the truth over my suspension and what it was for. I can say right now I did not do anything knowingly wrong and was taking prescribed medication that my [doctor] and I followed all the correct protocol on. My actual response and doctor's response will be coming soon. So before you judge, know the facts."

The last wrestler and former WWE superstar that has surfaced as a likely candidate for a return to the ring is the Boogeyman. According to What Culture, the Boogeyman has turned down several offers from independent wrestling promotions. The speculation is that he plans on returning to the WWE sooner rather than later.

Neither these three wrestlers nor the WWE have confirmed the return of Bubba Ray, Adam Rose, or the Boogeyman.

Which one of these three wrestlers would you most like to see return to the WWE?
