Things are a little different in Wonder Woman.
As most of DC's best-selling Rebirth titles head into the middle of their second major arc -- and a select few got mini-arcs in the middle to let the readers catch up -- Wonder Woman is chugging right along, doing its thing.
Having been running two concurrent arcs -- one set in the present-day DC Universe and one reinventing and re-telling her origins for the Rebirth era -- Wonder Woman has been a complex and rewarding read from the word go -- and as our exclusive preview from tomorrow's Wonder Woman #9 (from writer Greg Rucka and artist Liam Sharp) shows, the heroine -- who also has a 75th anniversary one-shot on the stands this week -- is starting to really deal with the fallout of what's been going on so far.
The issue centers heavily on Diana's relationship -- whatever form it might take next -- with Steve Trevor, the man whose crash landing in Themyscira changed the course of the Amazon princess's life and the DC Universe as a whole.
And there's a fair amount to unpack, even just in these few preview pages. Check them out in the attached gallery.
You can see the solicitation text below. Wonder Woman #9 is in stores tomorrow. You can pick one up at your local comic shop or pre-order a digital copy at ComiXology.
