The recent trend in the WWE has been to bring back some of the more popular wrestlers that haven't been with the company in quite some time. While they have only been away since August, the Headbangers are now set to return to the ring for the WWE.

Both Mosh and Thrasher have taken to Twitter to announce their impending return. Glenn Ruth, aka Thrasher, tweeted: "The Headbangers return to Smackdown Live this week!! let's boost the ratings again!! #headbangernation."

Chaz Warrington, who goes by Mosh on the wrestling circuit also tweeted about the tag team's return to the ring. "Well, it looks like the Headbangers will have a chance to qualify for the #SDLive Survivor Series Team! Watch out Jersey, we're coming home!"

When the Headbangers first returned to the WWE, they didn't exactly receive a hero's welcome. Their match where they quickly lost to Heath Slater and Rhyno wasn't too thrilling either.

While the Headbangers possibly might not be getting a warm reception at the Survivor Series, from the sounds of things they aren't going to be the only ones. The WWE recently brought back superstar wrestler Goldberg, and he seems like he is expecting to get booed like he did the last time he was in the ring. Goldberg has an upcoming match against The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. The 49-year-old wrestler says that if the fans boo them that it won't faze him.

During a recent interview with The Ross Report Goldberg said: "At the end of the day, I hope everybody has fun. And if I just so happen to get booed, then, I am surely not going to go out and end my life because of it. At the end of the day, it's other people's interpretation upon your act at that moment, so if I get booed, then, I'll take it out on Brock more so than I'm doing already. And I believe that that's what we wanted to do to each other when we were booed the last time we met. And I think this time, the gloves, as we say, are off, so this is going to be a war."

Are you excited for the Headbangers to be returning to the WWE?
