Unless you've been living under a rock these past few days, then you have likely heard about the shocking premiere of The Walking Dead's seventh season. The much-anticipated episode blew fans away with its gritty (and grisly) content, leaving viewers to mourn the tragic loss of two fan-favorite characters. Now, one of the nixed actors from the show is talking about his reaction of the fans' grief, and it seems like their mourning is really getting to him.

Speaking on Conan, Steven Yeun talked about Glenn and his brutal death with candid honesty. When he was asked about the outpouring of grief over his character on social media, the actor joked that he now "feel[s] dead in real life."

He also took a moment to talk about filming his death scene. "It was pretty bad - watching all your friends cry and go through it," he said. "I got to bug my eye out, so that was cool."

Of course, this isn't the first time Yeun has talked about Glenn's gory end to the press. Earlier this year, the actor kept mum about spoilers when he was asked how it felt to say goodbye to one of the show's characters. He said, "It's always a bummer," and that sentiment is one which millions of fans also share.

Yeun also spoke with Entertainment Weekly earlier this week and told the magazine that Glenn's death will haunt him for years to come.

"This is something that will hit me maybe a couple of months from now," he explained. "Or maybe it'll hit me next year. Maybe it'll be when I'm 45 and all of a sudden I'm just crying in my kitchen and I can't explain why. At that point, it was beautiful in that it was so easy for me to get emotional. Personally, for me, I'm not one to cry all the time. I don't cry much in real life. And when you do not cry in real life, the moments that you do cry are very, very fulfilling and cathartic. You realize, maybe I should cry more in general."
