A stunt performer from several blockbuster films donned some serious zombie garb on Sunday night for The Walking Dead.

Amy Lynn Tuttle, who recently performed stunts for films such as Captain America: Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and The Hunger Games Mockingjay Pt. 2, was one of the sand zombies attacking Tara and Heath in Sunday's Swear episode of The Walking Dead. According to Tuttle's IMDb page, she has worked on 38 major productions.

Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick pointed out the fact during his recap show on Sunday night.

Tuttle is hardly the first honorable appearance in walker form on the AMC series. Several celebrities have had the opportunity to reanimate and stumble after our beloved survivors. Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward has suited up for the apocalypse, along with The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero and Anthrax frontman Scott Ian.

Late in the show's sixth season, Johnny Depp's head even made an appearance at one point.

In addition to celebrity walkers on The Walking Dead, VFX supervisor/executive producer Nicotero enjoys the occasional homage to previous zombie or horror films wherever he can fit them.
