Zack Snyder Shares Photo Of Henry Cavill's First Superman Costume Test

Zack Snyder has been busy this year, and he's taking the time to document his work on social media these days. The director has been busy filming Justice League and shooting additional scenes, so fans weren't surprised when Snyder released a slew of photos from the set. Now, the actor is doing a throwback of sorts and sharing a Man of Steel photo of Henry Cavill camera testing Superman's suit for the first time.

Over on Vero, Snyder uploaded the grainy image to the delight of fans. "First costume test M O S shot with my polaroid land camera," he wrote. In the picture, fans are not shown Cavill's face, but they can see his backside. His body is covered by Superman's rippling cape, and Cavill's hair is coifed to perfection. Several crew members can be seen standing around the actor as they see how the costume looks on film.

Earlier this month, Snyder uploaded a variety of Justice League photos on the social media site which you can check out in our image gallery. In one of the photos, fans were shown a room filled with window which looked over a body of water. Fans believe the image was taken from Bruce Wayne's luxurious manor, and fans already know the team will congregate at the estate during Justice League.

Another image depicts a simple black-and-white landscape from Iceland. A good chunk of Justice League was filmed in the country, especially those concerning Jason Momoa's Aquaman. A third image even showed the ripped actor standing on an isolated road while wearing a coat. From the looks of it, the coat is the same one that the actor donned in the first Justice League trailer, so fans are already wondering how the two images connect.

If you're wondering where the love for Wonder Woman is then don't fret. Snyder has also given fans a new look at the heroine from Justice League. The director unveiled the image to celebrate the character's 75th anniversary and a recent honor she received by from the UN. The image is a headshot of Gal Gadot, and it is an intense one. The actress can be seen looking cross at someone off-scree and a pyre of fire can be seen raging in the background.

As Justice League draws nearer to its release, fans can expect Snyder to keep them updated with exclusive photos and more. It doesn't seem likely that fans will get an image of Superman filming on-set for Justice League to prevent any undue spoilers, but hey - DC diehards can dream.
