When Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was released in November of last year, it brought a whole new crop of actors into the Harry Potter universe. Among those was Zoe Kravitz, who was revealed in the film to be Leta Lestrange, relative of Helena Bonham Carter's Bellatrix Lestrange from the Harry Potter films.

Even though Kravitz had a very small role in the film - only appearing in a photograph among the belongings of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) - the star of X-Men: First Class, Divergent, and Mad Max: Fury Road recently revealed that fans can expect more of her in the Fantastic Beasts sequels.

When asked if she knew what her later involvement in the film series would be, Kravitz revealed that she thinks it will span into the next few of the four announced sequels. "The relationship between Leta and Newt Scamander is a complex relationship," she reveals. "So I think there will be a lot of time for that to grow and develop, which will be fun."

That being said, Kravitz does not know any specific details of her character's prominence in the next film, which she says it set to begin filming this year. "That starts in June or July, I think." Kravitz reveals. "It's sometime in the summer. I'm very excited... I have an idea [of my role], based off of when I auditioned," she elaborates, "but I know nothing."

Kravitz did share details of her audition process for the first film, which included a chemistry read with Redmayne that was fun, but equally as cryptic.

"[Eddie] was trying to help me piece together what was happening in the scene that we were reading. He doesn't get to see anything either, so he was like, 'I think based off of this line and this line, and what we shot here and here, this is what's going on.' We had to guess. It was funny to watch him, trying to piece it all together."

It is clear that Kravitz would love to return to the Harry Potter universe in any way she is able to. "Being able to work with Eddie [Redmayne] and David [Yates] was incredible. The script was very under wraps, so even signing onto it, I hadn't read the script. I just went off of who was involved, and J.K. Rowling and the Harry Potter films, so I knew it was going to be incredible, especially with how involved J.K. is."

Kravitz said that she is proud of the first Fantastic Beasts film, both as an actress and a Harry Potter fan. "I got to see the film, after I was already signed on, and it exceeded my expectations. That was a really interesting experience, to sit back and watch a movie that you loved, and then get to walk out and say, 'I get to be in that!' It's a very cool thing."
