DC has provided ComicBook.com with a first look at Super-Sons, February's upcoming new Rebirth launch starring Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne.
You can check it out in the attached image gallery.
During his DC Comics panel at the In-Store Convention Kickoff back in March of last year, DC Entertainment Co-Publisher Dan DiDio did his best to avoid most Rebirth questions, but revealed that his favorite Rebirth title was Super-Sons.
The concept -- which originally took place on an alternate earth but has been updated for the modern day -- is that the Super-Sons were the sons of Superman and Batman of a Pre-Crisis alternate earth -- the half-human Superman, Jr. and Batman, Jr.
Superman recently brought his son into the main DC Comics Earth, opening the door to the possibility that this series could star Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne.
"When I first started collecting, I remember picking up those Super-Sons World's Finest and literally just buying World's Finest when it featured the Super-Sons," DiDio told fans in a panel livestreamed to comic shops around the country. "There's something just goofy and fun and exciting about that and if we can have the same amount of fun here, it's going to be good."
This isn't a first for DiDio; during a recent podcast interview, Superman: Lois and Clark and Action Comics writer Dan Jurgens mentioned that DiDio had always wanted to release a Superman title under the "Lois and Clark" banner.

"When I grow up" part one! The sons of Batman and Superman have graduated to their own monthly comic—but if they want to survive, they're going to have to share it! Writer Peter J. Tomasi (BATMAN & ROBIN, SUPERMAN) teams with rising-star artist Jorge Jimenez (EARTH 2) to bring you the adventures of the World's Smallest. This debut issue looks at the lives of Robin and Superboy and their destiny to follow in their fathers' footsteps, while we meet a new villain whose ascension parallels the boys' own understanding of their powers—except that he believes it's his right to rule over every being on the planet!
