Legends of Tomorrow: Five Questions Raised In Raiders of the Lost Art
In DC's Legends of Tomorrow tonight, there were...a lot of questions raised.Almost nothing is [...]
WHERE IS THE REST OF THE SPEAR?
Where is the rest of the Spear of Destiny?
Does Rip have allies who might have a piece as well, or did he hide multiple pieces of the Holy Lance throughout history before he did...whatever it is he did to himself?
Oh, on that note...
prevnextWHAT HAPPENED TO RIP HUNTER?
Time drift, the most obvious culprit for Rip forgetting who he was and becoming somebody else, was discounted in this episode in favor of something...perhaps his life being rewritten by the Spear of Destiny?
In any event, it seems they're going to tease this mystery out for a while, and it will likely be key to resolving the conflict in the long run.
prevnext...WAIT, ARE RAY AND AMAYA A COUPLE?
It's not just the way Ray and Amaya are so paranoid (...well, mostly Ray...) about Nate getting the impression that they're together. It's also the fact that
It's also the fact that Amaya's gentle mockery about Ray's "fake" gluten allergy is something that feels very...couple-y?
Anyway, what's the temperature in the room on this? Are these guys together?
And if so, what's the ramification of Ray being in a relationship with somebody who comes from the 1940s?
prevnextWILL ALL OF THE LEGION OF DOOM'S MAYHEM MESS THINGS UP?
We already know that one of their victims in this week's episode was meant to invent a carbureator.
There's also the fact that they killed a police officer, which likely means that there's at least something that he did in the rest of his life that had an impact on the community (in this case, Los Angeles, a pretty significant community, especially in the '60s).
Given the relatively minor things that have had a ripple effect on history throughout the life of this show, could we see some ramifications from the Legion of Doom's attacks on time that aren't covered by the larger mission of finding the Spear of Destiny?
Heck, to that point, might Rip Hunter have messed up time by going back and making himself into "Phil?"
prevnextWAIT, DID LEGENDS OF TOMORROW JUST DISS...LEGENDS OF TOMORROW?
"A film is only as good as its villain and I have an antagonist who's as threatening as a weiner dog."
That sounds an awful lot like a knock on the first season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which drew a lot of criticism from fans and critics...for its villain, Vandal Savage.
...you know: the guy Rip was talking about.
Ouch.
