Fan Art Friday: The Pinup Stylings Of Cris Delara

If you happen to be a fan of stunning pinup style versions of your favorite superheroes, then you've come to the right place.

Artist Cris Delara happens to specialize in exactly that, beautifully rendering characters like Batgirl, Black Widow, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman in pinup style. Superheroes aren't the only focus, though, as you'll find Star Wars, Pokemon, and Anime works in her portfolio as well.

Delara's skill in creating realism through texture is fantastic. Take her work on Poison Ivy, for instance. The leaves, her hair and her face all feel genuinely unique and lifelike. The same goes for the Patreon exclusive Wilma pinup, which features extensive details in the hair and dress, and her coloring gives the dress movement and texture.

Of course, if you like something a bit more fun, Delara also has a line of toy inspired Star Wars characters, including Han Solo, Princess Leia, and a Stormtrooper. The same attention to detail is present in these, just with a more cartoon-like coat of paint.
