Marvel fans, take a breath - Danny Rand is here, and he's got a bone to pick with a slew of baddies. Thanks to Netflix, the iconic martial arts superhero will be making his live-action debut later this year in a standalone series. Played by Finn Jones, the lean fighter has been the talk of Marvel fans everywhere, and that buzz is only about to get bigger. In the coming months, Netflix will be gearing fans up for the premiere of Marvel's Iron Fist. So, to celebrate, a new picture of Danny Rand has hit the Internet.

Over on Twitter, the official account for Marvel's Iron Fist uploaded a new photo of the prodigal fighter. "Focus. Breath. Strike," the caption reads, and it looks like the hero followed those instructions to perfection. In the picture, fans can see Danny Rand rearing back for a powerful kick, and his shadowy opponent looks like he does not stand a chance.
Dressed in all black, the hero looks a bit different than from how he usually does. In the comics, fans are used to seeing the hero in his iconic green-and-yellow jumpsuit, but the darker attire does suit him. Just like Daredevil, the hero seems like he will start out in a DIY costume before he upgrades to something sturdier hopefully.
Obviously, Iron Fist will have plenty of fighting to do in his Netflix series. Last year, Jones spoke with press about the type of martial arts used during production, and the actor stressed how versatile Danny Rand was at fighting.
"There's all sorts," Jones said, referring to the type of fighting seen on Iron Fist. "There's Kung Fu, wushu, dragon, tiger, monkey; there's so many different forms of martial arts that we're approaching it."
"It takes a martial artist a lifetime to learn this stuff, and I've had a month. It's been really intense, but really fun. The way I approach it is, it's like learning a dance routine. You learn the steps, you get that in your mind and your body, you learn the choreography, and then you add acting on top of it, and all that development, and then you turn up on the day and you just kick ass."
