This year, Wonder Woman is poised to take the world by storm. The iconic DC Comics heroine has been around for decades, but Diana Prince is finally getting her due thanks to Warner Bros. In the summer, fans will watch as Wonder Woman makes her stand in a solo film before she stars in the much-anticipated Justice League flick. Gal Gadot is the capable actress helming the undisputed hero, and the actress reached out to fans today with a touching throwback photo.
Over on Facebook, Gadot channeled her Wonder Woman and shared a picture online to thank her loyal fans. The actress posted a picture of her singing dozens of Wonder Woman posters and a few Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice DVDs to boot. "TBT to signing some special gifts for you guys," she wrote, ending the caption with a red heart emoji.
Of course, this is not the first time Gadot has paid homage to her many fans - and she really does have a lot of them. From super stars to everyday moviegoers, Gadot has made millions fall for Wonder Woman, and DC President Diane Nelson has gushed about the actress for it.
"It's a testament to Zack Synder's casting ability. I think Gal was someone who embodied the role so beautifully and we saw lots of evidence of how audiences responded when she came on screen for the first time," she told Variety last year. "People just burst out clapping whether it was in the trailer or screaming or standing up, she and I think Ben Affleck as Batman really stood out as two amazing parts of that movie."
