Ride A Rollercoaster With Attack On Titan Characters

Attack On Titan is currently taking over Universal Studios Japan. Recently the theme park has been been rolling out AOT merchandise and attractions. The park not only has a photo area with the giant Armored Titan, but also Attack on Titan themed food and souvenirs, and not to mention attractions. The park has recently turned its famous Hollywood Dream rollercoaster into a Attack On Titan Thrill ride.

The rollercoaster will be playing the new "real" version of the Attack on Titan theme song, Guren no Yumiya. Not only do you get hear the catchy song in your ears the whole ride, but you will also be accompanied by one of the main characters, Levi. A recording of Levi's voice will comment as the coaster goes through twists, turns, and flips. There was a preview of the attraction, seen above.

Along with the rollercoaster take over, Universal Studios Japan also has the Attack on Titan The Real, which is the new Attack on Titan 4-D movie. It is called 4-D because the film is in 3D, with other sensory effects, such as the Titans' footsteps, and breathing.

"Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!"

The second season of the show will air on April 1st, and there will be two recap movies played in select US theaters before the new season. The first season is also available on Netflix and Crunchyroll if you need to catch up before the second season starts.
