The Guardians are back in the much-anticipated sequel, though this time the lovable mascot of the group Groot is a bit smaller. It doesn't stop him from stealing the show, though, as he does without much effort in the newest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 extended TV spot.
Aside from the usual footage of Ayesha's mounting effort to stomp out the Guardians, fans get to see a bit more of the adorable tree in the 1:00-minute spot, including an adorable piece where Groot climbs on Gamora's shoulder. While he's a bit angry these days, something Rocket even calls out in the trailer, he is still incredibly charming when he celebrates alongside the rest of the team. Also, who knew angry trees loved M&M's so much (though they could also be Skittles). Regardless, it is now a certifiable fact that angry trees love candy.
