9 WWE Stars Who Deserved A Better WrestleMania
Many of the WWE's biggest superstars will have career defining moments this weekend at [...]
Samoa Joe
After 15 years, Samoa Joe was finally brought up from NXT to be Triple H's handpicked "destroyer" and he took out Seth Rollins to make a huge impact on his first night on RAW. Joe followed up his debut with impressive victories over Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho. With plenty of time to build to some type of big money feud, Samoa Joe somehow has nothing on his dance card this weekend in Orlando.
You can say this doesn't hurt him because his main roster career is so new, but considering how often superstars get injured, I certainly hope that we don't look back and regret missing out on his 'Mania moment.

BRAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNN!!!!!
The Andre the Giant memorial is below Braun Strowman. Had he entered and won last year, this would have been totally fine. This year however, Strowman has been heavily trending towards the main event scene and until last week was nearly an equal participant in the Undertaker v. Roman Reigns feud. From a storyline standpoint it feels beneath him to jump into the battle royal when he should be demanding Reigns and Taker's match to be a triple threat.
prevnextAmerican Alpha
Just two weeks ago these guys were Tag Team Champions and by far the most impressive team in the WWE and now they are competing for a giant Andre statue?
Come on, American Alpha deserves more than this. As does the team who dethroned them ...
prevnextThe Usos
After a year long rebuild and an amazing Tag Team Championship victory, The Usos and their Championship belts get relegated to the pre-show Andre the Giant Battle Royal where literally nothing related to the tag team division is at stake and neither one has a chance in hell of winning.
prevnextDean Ambrose
Is there a bigger afterthought championship match on the card than Dean Ambrose's Intercontinental Championship defense against Baron Corbin. The most interesting aspect of their feud has been the addition of a forklift and last I checked, their match at WrestleMania is not a forklift match. Ambrose has been so forgotten as the IC Champ that he wasn't even included in Smackdown's go-home show.
prevnextAlexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss has become one of the most interesting characters on Smackdown since joining the roster last fall. The 5 feet of fury has absolutely been killing it on the mic and deserved a big title defense on the Grandest Stage Of Them All. More so than just Alexa getting the shaft, the Smackdown women deserved more than a multi-person match on the pre-show. They also deserved to save Naomi's return until Mania instead of giving it away last night on Smackdown.
prevnextBig Show
Weeeeeeeelllllll .... It's a Big Shame that the Big Show has gotten himself into the best shape of his life in preparation for a match with Shaquille O'Neal only to have Shaq back out at the last minute. Instead of nabbing the coveted "fight with a celebrity spot" at what could be his final WrestleMania, Show will likely be fodder in the quest to pass the big man torch to Braun Strowman in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal.
prevnextLuke Harper
Luke Harper broke free from the mystical cult powers of Bray Wyatt, then he got himself a brand new tank top and a man bun. He even won a battle royal to become the number one contender to Wyatt's WWE Championship. What does he get for all his hard work?
Nada.
Nothing.
Harper is nowhere to be found on the WrestleMania card and that is a damn shame. Rumors have it that he may still insert himself into the main event in some way, but we would have loved to see Harper get a run on his own.
