Japan is no stranger to unique PR stunts to advertise upcoming movies and shows. So in preparation for the new season of My Hero Academia the marketing team behind the show has set up something special. If you happen to be walking by the Tokyo Sky Tree Town, take a step inside because right by the entrance you will find a giant balloon of Midoriya Izuku. The protagonist of the series towers next to the elevators standing over 19 feet tall. It shows Midoriya standing at the ready, with giant smile on his face and fists clenched. In addition to the giant balloon, there are also special cards being passed out to fans that approach it. The cards all have special "quirks", so that those interested can have their own super powers.

This promotional event is in preparation for season two of the hit hit series hitting screens on April 1st. The show will be available to watch in the United States on Funimation, Hulu, and Crunchyroll. Funimation announced that the new season will be simulcast with English subtitles in the U.S. on both Hulu and Crunchyroll. However the Simuldub (English dubbed simulcast) will be exclusive to Funimation's on streaming service FunimationNow. All of the simulcast will launch on the same day the episodes are first broadcast in Japan.

If you are unfamiliar with My Hero Academia Funimation has a synopsis of the series below:

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That's right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered "quirk," Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that's not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world's most prestigious hero academies.

My Hero Academia season 2 will premiere and be able to stream on April 1, 2017. Funimation will also be releasing season 1 on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD on April 18, 2017.
