Still, there are some very tired tropes littered throughout the anime industry which fans are bored of. After all, a character can only have so many nosebleeds before they turn a viewer off. Screaming Matches
There's no such thing as an an old-fashioned anime battle without blood-curdling screams. Shows like Dragon Ball may have a corner on the market, but titles like Inuyasha and Bleach are also guilty of the trope. When it comes to shonen titles, no fight can carry on unless the opponents shout their attack names at the top of their lungs. So, really, the poor warriors should be surprised when their hits do meet a target. They gave plenty of warning to their challenger about ducking.
Food Porn
There is no end to anime's love of food. From One Piece to Naruto, shonen titles are known abusers of gluttony. Characters like Monkey D. Luffy can eat endless supplies of chicken, and Naruto Uzumaki can down 20+ bowls of ramen without a sweat. Now, there are even anime titles which glorify the sexual arousal that comes with eating high-end foods. So, if you are into that sort of thing, you might want to get Food Wars a try.
Insane Breast Physics
Taking a physics class may make some people think they're an expert on all things math, but it doesn't take a genius to know that anime gets its breath physics wrong. Sure, when a woman runs or jumps without a bra, there is bound to be reactionary jiggles which get men blushing. But, if you were to go by anime standards, a simple sneeze could make a pair of breasts shake so hard that they'd give a guy a black eye or something.
Running With Toast
Maybe it's just a anime thing, but the medium features tons of protagonist who love toast. Over the years, various titles have shown its younger characters rushing about their homes to get ready for school. The students, who are going to be late no matter what they do, already hurry out of the house with a piece of limp toast half in their mouths. It happens so often these days that some anime diehards wonder if their favorite characters are ever actually on time.
