New Attack On Titan Episode Delivers Best Battle Yet

Fans were mentally preparing themselves last week for the insane action that was promised in the most recent episode of Attack On Titan, and the show delivered. Episode 32 was titled "Close Combat", and fans got all the combat they ever hoped for. Eren and Reiner faced off in Titan-form for one of the best battles in Attack On Titan history.

The reason the battle between the Titans was so intense, is because of the build up of emotion from the last couple of episodes. Last episode, Reiner and Bertolt both revealed their true identities, and tried to convince Eren to join them Darth Vader style. "Close Combat" does a great job in showing Eren's pure rage toward the Armored Titan, as they have an insane fight that lasts basically the entire episode. The confrontation between the two Titans had twists and turns that made fans nervous for Eren, and made it impossible not to cheer for the protagonist. Fans were shown a earth shattering grudge match between Eren and Reiner that ended with one of the craziest cliff hangers of the season.

After the grueling back and forth between the two Titans, Eren seems to have the fight in the bag, when a twist comes out of nowhere. Eren is breaking the Armored titans arm in an MMA lock, and it seems to be all over, when the camera moves to the Colossal Titan diving off the wall straight onto the two. The episode ends and fans are left mouth open in awe as they wait to see what happens next episode.

These mindless beasts have all but wiped out humanity, and mankind is left to cower in fear behind massive walls. When their sanctum is infiltrated by a slew of Titans, Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the military to help eradicate the blood-thirty monsters. But, as they grow older, they learn that the beasts are not what they appear as long-held government conspiracies make themselves known.
