A report surfaced this morning that Zack Snyder's Justice League film had underwent major reshoots to help provide a "major facelift" to the production six months before it is set to hit theaters.
The rumor came from the Splash Report which stated that the film will have essentially been "remade…twice" in the 17 months between the start of shooting before it releases in theaters.
Now a report from TheWrap seems to debunk those anonymous claims with even more anonymous claims.
"There has been no additional photography to date on 'Justice League,' we have planned and will shoot additional pickups early summer," a studio insider said according to TheWrap.
The original rumor stated that the reshoots were different from the "additional photography," as is typical on big budget tentpoles such as the Marvel films, and was more akin to the reshoots on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
TheWrap's report indicates that "additional photography has always been planned like most pictures in general but certainly for a tentpole of 'Justice League's' size and scope."

Warner Bros. executives have expressed enthusiasm and confidence for Justice League, where as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Academy Award-winning Suicide Squad both caused concerns among the studio.
The next DC Film, Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, recently screened for audiences and received a lot of positive reactions. That movie is set to hit theaters on June 2.
Justice League is next up for Warner Bros., with James Wan's Aquaman set to hit more than a year later on December 21, 2018. TheWrap also reported that Back to the Future director Robert Zemeckis and X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn are being eyed to direct The Flash, which has already suffered numerous delays.
Justice League is due in theaters November 17.
