Earlier tonight, we covered a particularly strange lawsuit in which a plaintiff in central Texas filed a lawsuit seeking $17.31 — the price of a ticket to a 3D showing of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 — in damages due to a "first date from hell."
The alleged offense? Texting throughout the duration of the movie. The story has gotten to the point where it's catching the eyes of some pretty important people, including Vol. 2 writer/director James Gunn, and the fan-favorite crew member had to offer his two cents.
"Why stop at suing? She deserves jail time!" the director jokingly tweeted.
