It's safe to say that Black Panther is one of the most anticipated comic book movies on the horizon. And now, Marvel has unveiled a new synopsis to get audiences hyped up for the Chadwick Boseman-led film.

"After the events of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, King T'Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country's new leader. However, T'Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanadan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war."

The synopsis, courtesy of Licensing Global, gives the biggest indication yet of the film's plot. While the previous synopsises had indicated a vague conflict of some kind, this one outlines exactly what is at stake, and gives us some sort of indication of how the film's ensemble cast will come into play. While we already knew that Michael B. Jordan's Kilmonger would be the central antagonist of the film, the idea of him being accompanied by a second 'foe' of T'Challa is certainly new.

In addition, the synopsis outlines how important the fan-favorite Dora Milaje - led by Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia and Danai Gurira's Okoye - will be to the film. The idea of T'Challa enlisting both them and Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman, reprising his role in Civil War) in his crusade is sure to excite fans.

Overall, this new synopsis is sure to excite those who are eagerly waiting for the film - and help pass the time until the February 16th release date.
