The official Legion soundtrack is receiving a new installment so listeners will enjoy more of the series' original tracks after the opening season concluded earlier this year.
The Legion, Vol. 2 Soundtrack by composer Jeff Russo is available on streaming platforms and for sale digitally on Amazon and iTunes.
FX's Legion, the manically watched series starring the most volatile mutant in the X-Men mythos, loudly announced itself as a new style of superpowered creation -- a genuinely frightening dissection of how a diagnosed schizophrenia patient learns (and struggles) to control his superhuman ability.

Legion center David Haller's white-set banjo-and-voice rendition of Kermit the Frog's "Rainbow Connection" (performed by star Dan Stevens solo) announced a new arc in his entangling with Syd Barrett (co-star Rachel Keller), the nucleus of his evolution through the first season.
The remaining nine tracks are additional recordings by composer Jeff Russo, combining two prior ComicBook.com exclusives with seven originals that weren't included in the first release.
The "Fauxlero," conducted by the Summerland team's turbulent guiding star Oliver Bird (Jemaine Clement) in the second-to-last chapter, is Jeff Russo's uniquely mutant take on French composer Maurice Ravel's Boléro -- the orchestral classic with all instruments building to join in two alternating melodies, while David and Syd lead charges on coordinated planes.
Like the earlier soundtrack release, Vol. 2 collects music designed to deliver auditory sensations and even hallucinations that have a lasting impact on the viewer's subjective judgment of the series and its characters, helping fans decode David's psyche as the series progresses.
The new volume's opener "Caper 1" instantly recollects an early hint to the true motive of Lenny (Aubrey Plaza) -- appearing in the second chapter to spur David to pick up more of his addictive blue vapor just after an appointment with Dr. Poole (whose part in David's breakdown is still mysterious) discussing his prescription drug schedule.
Another pair of highlights introduced fans to a persistent favorite among David's tormentors in two catastrophically different states.
"The Walk" is the skittering track from the pilot chapter that soundtracked The Interrogator (Hamish Linklater, also currently of FX's Fargo) traversing halls and stairs at the Division 3 complex as the audience saw its layout for the first time.
"Harpischord with Undercurrent" memorably opened the season finale on Kubrick-flavored notes with the Interrogator recovering from the severe injuries he suffered earlier after a radiant blast of a still-mysterious cause.
Lisa Hannigan's cover of David Bowie's "Oh! You Pretty Things" which closes the sixth chapter on a thematic swell is not part of the release but is available from the artist's SoundCloud.
Legion, returning for its second season in 2018, is the first live-action X-Men television series as well as the first collaboration between FX and Marvel Television.
