Playstation is about to get one of the biggest Naruto releases of all time, as this year Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Trilogy and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy are released. It looks like fans are going to be getting a surprise if they purchase one of the upcoming compilation games, as it has been announced that there will be a Boruto anime special included in each.

Packaged with the two new games is a new Boruto Anime Special! The new special features fan favorite characters such as: Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Shikadai, Chocho, and Inojin in a fun adventure. It looks like the anime special takes place sometime after Boruto and company become genin. The special was first shown back in November of 2016 at an event called Jump Special Anime Festa, but it was not shown anywhere else, so for most Boruto fans it is brand new.

The anime special will be packaged with Storm Legacy, which is set to release in North America and Europe of fall of this year, and Storm Trilogy which is set to release on July 27, 2017 in Japan.
