Spider-Man: Homecoming is a blast. It has an innocence that differentiates it from the other MCU movies but plenty of fun & spectacle too.
— Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) June 24, 2017
And because people will ask, Spider-Man: Homecoming is EASILY the best Spider-Man movie since Spider-Man 2. Close to Raimi's original.
— Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) June 24, 2017
Germain Lussier goes at step further, letting fans know right off the bat where Spider-Man: Homecoming ranks in the lineup of Spider-Man films.
With both the Rami Trilogy and the stalled Amazing Spider-Man reboot to consider, its a big deal to hear that Homecoming tops them all.

Absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED Spider-Man Homecoming. Funny. Filled with surprises. Tons of fun. Going to make insane $ at box office. pic.twitter.com/8cxce4OmHi

Also Spider-Man Homecoming has one of the best after the credits scenes yet. But not for the reason you'd expect. Trust me. Stay till end. pic.twitter.com/uTAf5rM7ga
— Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) June 24, 2017
Steve "Frosty" Weintaub of Collider echoes the general sentiment in the room: Spider-Man: Homecoming really is the best in the franchise.
However, Steve goes a step further by teasing a big post-credits scene for the film. Studios (read: Marvel often will cut such scenes for press screenings); however, it sounds like this will be another Guardians of the Galaxy "Howard The Duck" type scene:
In other words, something more fun than revelatory.

My ★★★★½ review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) on @letterboxd: https://t.co/jmPBqV8Bvg

Kurt from Letterboxd gives his 4.5 out of 5 full breakdown of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
...of course, at 4.5 out of 5 the only thing you'd be reading to know would be what small nitpicks with the film he had.
We'll just take the larger point that Spider-Man: Homecoming is getting another major thumbs up.

We're not sure if this is a person or a bot who is programmed to REALLY love Tom Holland... (kidding?)
In any case, hearing Spider-Man: Homecoming being put on the same level as Spider-Man 2 is a big deal. A really big deal.
As always, there's the potential for a movie to be overhyped, but we want to believe.

#SpiderManHomecoming is SO MUCH FUN. The action is BADASS. Tom Holland is THE BEST Peter Parker hands down. I'm pumped after seeing it ??

ScreenRant's Molly Freeman is crushing on Tom Holland in her enthusiastic review of the film.
After seeing this entire lineup of glowing reactions to Spider-Man: Homecoming, we think she's going to have some company soon.
As in: the entire world is probably about to fall in love with Tom Holland's Peter Parker.

You can find the official synopsis for Homecoming below, which has a 4.13 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
The cast includes Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. It also includes Jon Favreau, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Michael Mando, Selenis Leyva, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg, Jr., JJ Totah, and Hannibal Buress.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is in theaters now. Spider-Man: Homecoming lands on July 7, 2017, followed by Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017. After that Black Panther debuts on February 16, 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp is slated for July 6, 2018, followed by Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.
