Two weeks from Friday, AMC will unveil the first official look at Season 8 of The Walking Dead.
The zombie drama will head to San Diego Comic Con with the biggest stars of the series assembling on the stage in Hall H to discuss the upcoming batch of episodes before the full trailer is unveiled and simultaneously released online. As much has become a tradition for The Walking Dead, though Season 8's trailer will reveal much more than the trailer for the previous season's which had to preserve the mystery regarding who Negan killed.
A few stars of the show have already spilled some predictions for the Season 8 trailer while speaking to ComicBook.com.
"I think, I mean, for as cool as the Tiger is, we all love Shiva, but I think what we've got to show here in Season 8 is going to trump everything that we've ever done on the show by far," Aaron actor Ross Marquand said of the Season 8 trailer, comparing it to the epic reveal of Shiva the tiger in Season 7's.
Paul "Jesus" Rovia actor Tom Payne also has high expectations for the trailer but hopes it keeps from spoiling some epic moments coming up in the new season. "I kind of hope not because there is stuff like this sequence that was shot last week that I don't want the audience to know about until it happens in the show," Payne said. "It's a surprise and you're like, 'Whoa, that's gonna happen!' I don't know, so I think the comic con trailer is a tough one because you don't want to give away the cool stuff that's coming. So, I think they've got a bit of a job on their hands cutting it together."
With the All Out War storyline on the horizon, the trailer will inevitably be packed with intense action sequences and battles between Rick Grimes, Negan, and their respective communities.
Along with the trailer, The Walking Dead will also announce its Season 8 premiere date at San Diego Comic Con.
