The Green Arrow has had a lot of allies come and go during his tenure on The CW, but there is one character who stands out that fans still request for a return. And it seems like the star of the show shares those same sentiments.
Arrow actor Stephen Amell was asked during his Heroes & Villains Fan Fest panel in Nashville about a certain crimson-clad archer's potential to return to the show.
"I know that Thea is kind of taking the role of your sidekick," a fan began to ask during the Q&A, "but do you ever miss having Roy [Harper] be your partner?"
Amell responded positively about there former Arsenal, saying "I miss Colton Haynes' handsome face every single day."
So the fan asked him rather bluntly: "Is he going to come back?" And Amell gave a bold response that made no attempt to mask his opinion on the matter.
"If we end this show, whenever it happens to end, without seeing Roy Harper again, I think we will have made a tragic mistake," Amell responded.

Once infected with the Mirakuru virus, Roy Harper murdered a police officer — that action haunted his motivations in the series ever since. Though he found romance with Oliver's sister Thea Queen, he was still haunted by that crime. When Oliver's Green Arrow persona was being framed for murder, Roy took the blame and went to jail.
He then went on the run and into hiding with the aid of Team Arrow, leaving Star City, and briefly returned to the series after the Calculator learned his identity and whereabouts. Haynes again reprised the role during the "Invasion!" crossover storyline, appearing in Oliver's hallucination.
It'll be interesting to see how and why Arrow brings Roy Harper back, considering they faked his death in his last legitimate appearance. Maybe we'll see him again when Season 6 premieres this fall.

Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his "family."
Based on the characters from DC, ARROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti ("The Flash," "Supergirl"), Marc Guggenheim ("DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "Eli Stone"), Wendy Mericle ("Desperate Housewives," "Eli Stone"), Andrew Kreisberg ("The Flash," "Eli Stone," "Warehouse 13") and Sarah Schechter ("The Flash," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow").
Supergirl premieres on Monday, October 9th at 8 pm, while The Flash debuts on Tuesday, October 10 at 8 pm. Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays this Fall, airing right after The Flash on October 10. On Thursday, October 12 at 9 pm Arrow will premiere to round out the DC roster.
