The organization responsible for rating films in the United Kingdom releases an annual report that includes details about the complaints they get from movie goers and the reasons why. The movie that received the most complaints in their 2016 report that was just released shouldn't surprise anyone.
The British Board of Film Classification recently revealed that Deadpool received the most complaints of the year with 51 total for the movie rated 15. Most of the complaints were in reference to the gratuitous violence in the movie, though the language and sex scene in the movie were also mentioned.
"Some viewers were concerned about the level of violence in the film," the report states. "Though the violence is strong and frequently bloody, this often occurs during fast-paced action sequences with little focus on detail. There is also a comic tone to the violence, and the film's fantastical setting further distances it from reality. The Classification Guidelines state that at 15, violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury."

It also states that "there is no upper limit on the number of uses of strong language" for movies with the 15 rating, and so the sex and language use were acceptable for that classification.
Suicide Squad, also 15-rated, received 30 complaints as well but for the opposite reasons.
"Most of the feedback was from children under the age of fifteen, or their parents, who had hoped that the film would achieve a lower classification," says the BBFC's report. "The sustained threat and moderate violence in Suicide Squad were too strong to warrant a 12A [rating]."
It's pretty funny to see the BBFC tally up these feedback responses. We're sure Deadpool would be proud of the "award," were he not a fictional character. But who knows, maybe someone will write it into a story involving the Merc With The Mouth.

David Leitch (John Wick) will direct the sequel, taking over for original Deadpooldirector Tim Miller. Fox is reportedly aiming for a June start of production in Vancouver.
Ryan Reynolds will return as Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth. For the sequel, he'll be joined by Josh Brolin as Cable. Cable was co-created by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld and Louise Simonson. He has often been paired with Deadpool as his grim, serious demeanor serves as the perfect foil to Deadpool's crude and zany humor. The duo headlined an ongoing comic book series, Cable & Deadpool, for 50 issues.
Atlanta star Zazie Beetz has also been cast in Deadpool 2. She will play Domino, a mutant with probability manipulation abilities that endows her with improbably good luck. In the Marvel Comics Universe, Domino was a member of Cable's mercenary crew, Six Pack, and one of his early love interests.
Jack Kesy has been cast in an undisclosed villain role, speculated to be Black Tom Cassidy. Shioli Kutsuna has also joined the production in an undisclosed "key" role.
Deadpool 2 opens in theaters on June 1, 2018.
