San Diego Comic-Con: Biggest Gaming Surprises We Want To See
San Diego Comic-Con 2017 is kicking off tonight, and thousands of people are expected to hit the [...]
Crash Bandicoot DLC
First off, a special Crash Bandicoot panel will be taking place on Thursday morning at 10:30 AM in Room 24 ABC, and, with that, panelists from Naughty Dog, Vicarious Visions and Dark Horse will be talking about their involvement in the hit game N. Sane Trilogy, as well as other things surrounding the world of Crash Bandicoot. But we were promised surprises during this panel, and one of those could be the revealing of the Lost Treasures DLC for the game, which was hinted at previously.
What could this be? Well, it could be a challenge mode that would somehow make the game even harder than before, or, better yet, it could be just the game that a number of fans have been asking for – Crash Team Racing! We'll see what Activision has in mind in just a few hours' time…
prevnextCall of Duty: WWII Zombies Beta
Tomorrow will bring the world premiere of the new Zombies mode that will be included in Call of Duty: WWII, including new gameplay and insight from a number of actors that are participating in the project, including David Tennant and Ving Rhames. But there's also a good possibility that the team at Sledgehammer Games will have a surprise for us, and that could be the involvement of the Zombies mode with the forthcoming beta for the game. Activision hasn't confirmed this just yet, but considering the heavy buzz that's surrounding the forthcoming mode, it'd be foolhardy not to let players give it a try and see what all the hype is about. We'll be waiting with baited breath for information on this one. The panel takes place Thursday morning at 11:45 AM in room 6BCF, if you're interested in going.
prevnextWorld of Capcom, and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Content
On Saturday, you'll be able to check out the World of Capcom panel in room 25ABC if you're attending the show – and if you're a Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite fan, you might consider it a not-miss event. The reason for this is because the publisher could be revealing new fighters for the game, just as they did this past week when Jedah from Darkstalkers was revealed during the EVO event. More than likely, the fighters will be on the Marvel side of things, and we'll more than likely see the likes of Black Panther (since he has a film coming up) and maybe even Ant-Man (he does, too). Of course, your guess is as good as ours, but Capcom will have plenty to show off during its panel.
prevnextInjustice 2’s Latest DLC
It's kind of weird how Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment didn't set up a panel for Injustice 2, considering the information that producer Ed Boon has been hinting at over the next few weeks. But it's very likely that the company will host some kind of livestream over the weekend that will provide details on what we can expect next from the game. Thus far, it looks like Black Manta will soon be joining the party, and we've also gotten some hints that we could see some kind of expansion into the Story Mode. So what else could we see? Possibly more characters, as well as a release date for Starfire something next month. Whatever it is, we want to know about it!
prevnextMore Details On The Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta
There's another good fighting panel coming up at San Diego Comic-Con, in the form of Bandai Namco's, taking place on Friday at 2:00 PM in room 25ABC. We already know that Geese Howard is making his way to Tekken 7, which means the focus of the panel will likely turn to Dragon Ball FighterZ, which was a big hit at EVO this past weekend. What could we see from the game? Well, we'll probably get information on the forthcoming beta, which is set to kick off later this month, and we might even get a few more character reveals, even though we already know that Trunks, Piccolo and Krillin are inbound. Hey, any chance we can get to see DB FighterZ in action, we'll take.
prevnextBONUS: Friday the 13th Single Player DLC?
We've been hearing rumors that the team at Gun Media will be present at San Diego Comic-Con in some form, though it hasn't let on just what it intends to show from its hit multiplayer game just yet. Their reveal could really be tied in with anything, whether it's confirmation that Gloria (from Friday the 13th Part 3) will be added, or perhaps some new skins to keep players entertained. Our best bet? We'll finally get a good look at what single player content for the game is all about, and whether we get to take control of Jason or one of the hapless counselors he happens to be stalking. Whatever the case, we need more serial killing in our lives. (No, we're not crazy. Who said that?!)
