San Diego Comic-Con 2017 is now underway, and we here at Comicbook.com have boots on the ground and eyes in the sky, bringing you all of the latest coverage!
As preview night of SDCC17 kicks off, Marvel and LEGO are teasing fans with an epic exclusive it will debut at the convention: a life-size LEGO model of Chris Hemsworth Thor!
LEGO often comes to the big comic conventions with some kind of awesome model to display to legions of paparazzi-minded fans - and this, Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok will be the subject, as it happens to be the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie coming to theaters (Nov. 3).

The model shows Thor in the gladiatorial armor he will wear as part of the cosmic games of Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster - including the Thunder God's much-anticipated bought with The Hulk! This LEGO model truly does reflect the colorful, Jack Kirby-esque aesthetic that Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is bringing to the MCU.
SYNOPSIS: In Marvel Studios' Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi with a screenplay by Eric Pearson. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett (Hela), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Karl Urban (Skurge), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Sam Neill, Ray Stevenson (Volstagg), Tadanobu Asano (Hogun), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk), and Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Stephen Strange).
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming are in theaters now, followed by Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017.
