Bandai Namco revealed today that one of the greatest One Piece games ever made is getting a top-to-bottom remaster, and it's headed to the Nintendo Switch on September 29! One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is the definitive edition of one of the best adventures Luffy and his crew have ever embarked upon, and Nintendo Switch owners can expect the full 1080p 60fps treatment, along with a ton of extra content when the game drops. On PS4 Pro and PC, the game will be playable in 4K! The game will launch on PS4 and Steam on August 25. Check out the announcement trailer above!

Because this thing is coming to the Nintendo Switch, you better believe that Bandai Namco was encouraged to take advantage of the Nintendo Switch's unique features. In today's press release, Bandai Namco made sure to point out that Switch owners can enjoy an "outstanding 2-player Co-Op game Mode, the chance to play with 2 Joy-Con on the same console to share the experience with your crew, bring the pirates on the go or enjoy the deepness of Grand Blue into your home TV with the docked version."

"Re-discover the original adventure of Luffy and his pirate crew that encounter and befriends a cheerful yet mysterious raccoon named Pato- who possesses a shadowy power to create anything drawn onto a leaf. To help their newfound friend, Pato leads the crew to the Forgotten Island where they get kidnapped by a wicked pirate named The Red Count and Luffy must fight to recover his crew from the enemy's grasp and find out exactly what The Red Count's evil plots are… The adventure will come loaded with incredible content thanks to the inclusion of more than 40 DLC's."

We're already sold. The game looks like so much fun; the kind of lighthearted anime adventure that we've been dying to see on the Switch. For more on One Piece, stay tuned to WWG and comicbook!
