The cast of Arrow was in attendance at Comic-Con International: San Diego over the weekend but it was an extra special day for one Arrow star in particular.
Or it will be soon at least. Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity Smoak, will turn 26 years old on Monday, July 24. To mark the occasion, the entire cast of Arrow sang "Happy Birthday to You" to their co-star, and the moment was captured on video and shared on Instagram. Watch it below.
The 26th birthday of Emily Bett Rickards wasn't the only big announcement that the Arrow cast brought with them to Comic-Con International: San Diego. A new trailer for Arrow Season 6 was released during the event (seen at the top of the page). It was also announced that David Nykl will return in the show's sixth season and that Lost and Person of Interest star Michael Emerson will also be joining the cast in an undisclosed role.
Arrow will return for its sixth season on a new night and time - Thursday, October 12th, at 9/8c, on The CW.
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his "family".
