Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite has gotten its fair share of complaints since the game's official reveal late last year – something we addressed in this recent article – but perhaps one of the biggest ones is that some of the character models look a little out of whack.

Fans have noted that Chun-Li, Chris Redfield and Dante (from Devil May Cry) have lackluster character models, and that Capcom needed to do something to improve them to the level of the Marvel characters in the game. Well, not to worry – the team has heard your cries for fixing.

During the Marvel vs. Capcom panel this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con – where four new characters were introduced for the game – producer Yoshinori Ono addressed a question in regards to character models, and said they would be seeing significant improvmenets.

"The development team is hard at work finishing the game for the September 19th release date, and based off the feedback we heard, we are currently making improvements to Chun-Li as well as other Capcom characters," he noted. "Since the work is still in progress, we don't have anything final to show you just yet, but stay tuned."

That feedback more than likely came from the story demo that was released for the game during E3 week, giving players the opportunity to see how it would build up within the game, as various Capcom and Marvel characters come together to do battle with the newly formed villain Sigma Ultron. Considering his immense level of power, they're going to need all the help they can get.

We have full faith that Capcom will get the models fixed in time for the game's release, and players will be able to enjoy the game in all its glory, especially with new fighters being added to the game on a regular basis. There are two dozen characters thus far, and more are likely to be added closer to the game's release, with an additional batch set to be announced via the company's forthcoming downloadable content plans.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will release on September 19th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
