Stan Lee is a comics legend and at 94-years-old the co-creator of numerous Marvel characters has seen dozens of his creations brought to life in movies and on television. Yet for all the characters who have had a live-action turn there is one particularly character that Lee would like to see have another shot on the big screen.

Speaking with SyFy Wire, the Marvel icon revealed that while Spider-Man may be the character he is most asked about, Lee would really like to see the Silver Surfer get another movie. So much so that he's already thinking about his cameo.

"He's the one I want to see more," Lee said. "He's the most philosophical of all the characters I've ever worked on. And I have an idea for my cameo in that one!"

Played by Doug Jones and voiced by Laurence Fishburne, the Silver Surfer made his first and only live-action appearance in 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. The film was critically panned and rumors in 2012 that Marvel wanted to let Fox keep Daredevil in exchange for the Surfer and Galactus never panned out. Daredevil reverted to Marvel Studios and the Surfer remains with Fox.

While there are no plans to bring the Silver Surfer to the silver screen anytime soon we wouldn't mind seeing one ourselves, even if just for another Stan Lee cameo. In the meantime, we will just have to catch Lee's reportedly hilarious moment in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok out in November.
