Warner Bros. and DC Films' Wonder Woman will reach $800 million worldwide this weekend, according to Forbes.

The Patty Jenkins-directed comic book adaptation sits at $798.808 million globally as of this writing, and is expected to cross the $800 million mark even before its Japan release on August 25. If the film keeps pace with previous DC Cinematic Universe productions, Wonder Woman should add an additional $10—$15 million to its haul from its time in Japan, and could add upwards of $20 million to its box office for a total somewhere between $812 million and $817 million.

Wonder Woman has been a monumental success for Warner Brothers. Director Patty Jenkins holds the record for highest opening weekend box office by a film with a female director, and Wonder Woman is the highest-grossing film directed by a woman. Previously, Wonder Woman also racked up another record for having the best earnings holdover for any superhero movie of the last fifteen years, and is the top-grossing summer movie of 2017.

Warner Bros. is reportedly eyeing an extensive Academy Award campaign for the groundbreaking superhero movie, with plans to launch a campaign for Wonder Woman for Best Picture and Patty Jenkins for Best Director. If nominated, Jenkins would become the first Best Director nominee to be tapped for helming a comic book movie.

The fourth film of Warner's DC Cinematic Universe following Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman is currently the only DC Films production to be classified as "fresh" on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes with a rating of 92%, placing it among the best-reviewed comic book movies of all time.

Gal Gadot will reprise her role as the Amazonian warrior in Justice League, out November 17. Jenkins will return to helm the Wonder Woman sequel, and is reportedly in line for a massive pay increase.

The film's success will continue as Wonder Woman will soon bring in even more money in the home market. Wonder Woman will be available for Digital HD download on August 29 preceding the film's 4K, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD release on Tuesday, September 19.
