10 Best MCU Netflix Characters

After years of buildup on Netflix, fans finally got the TV team up that had been promised with Marvel's The Defenders. Now -- with ample time to have binged it -- it is easy to recognize and appreciate all of geek-out moments of the series and heap praise on the many interactions between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.

There were even a ton of cool situations and fun tensions that arose between familiar supporting characters like Misty Knight, Claire Temple, Foggy Nelson, and a ton of others. With all of these intertwining relationships between characters, ComicBook.com decided to pick out out our favorites with the 10 Best MCU Netflix characters!

So obviously, this list excludes characters from Agents of SHIELD or Agent Carter (even though those shows are on Netflix, they aren't produced for Netflix). Instead, we focused solely on characters that are in the Netflix MCU, which include characters from Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and now, The Defenders.

Our fourth spot on the list belongs to The Punisher, who is soon expected to get his own solo series with Marvel's The Punisher. Before being portrayed by Jon Bernthal in the second season of Daredevil, we'd seen three different live-action incarnations of Frank Castle (Dolph Lundgren, Thomas Jane, and Ray Stevenson, respectively) but none of those versions caught fire.

Thankfully, the fourth time was the charm.

Jon Bernthal, previously made famous by portraying Shane on The Walking Dead, received rave reviews from fans and critics alike in the role of Frank Castle, brilliantly playing the ex-soldier turned vigilante hell-bent on punishing those responsible for the murder of his family. His inclusion turned out to be a highlight in the second season of Daredevil, which is why he takes a top spot on our list.
