Funko Releases First Image Of Power Rangers Dragonzord POPs

Earlier today it was announced there would be a Dragonzord POP at NYCC, and now fans can get their first look at him.

The newest addition to the Power Rangers Funko family is the Green Ranger's iconic zord the Dragonzord, and fans will be pleased that he's coming in two different versions. The first is the classic green and silver design see in the original series. The second edition is a special black and gold variant that will be exclusively available at NYCC courtesy of Toy Tokyo.

As you can see below, both Dragonzords are in the super sized 6-inch variety, as far as design goes this is just about perfect. The Dragonzord's small arms are hilarious when paired with his oversized head, which gives his facial features a true chance to shine. He even sports his drill capable tail, though unfortunately, it does not actually spin like the television version.

Seems like something someone should mod, right?

No word yet on whether these will be available outside of NYCC eventually, but odds are they won't. If you aren't going to the show, you'll want to enlist someone to grab it for you at the show.

The black and gold version does look pretty slick, and it's a variant style that Saban likes to apply to their Zords. If you want to get your hands on the variant, you'll need to head to Funko's booth #722 to pick it up at Comic Con. No price was announced, but just know these will be in limited supply.

The Dragonzord will be the second super-sized Power Rangers POP to be released. The classic Mighty Morphin Megazord was the first and was highly coveted at San Diego Comic Con. You can still get one mind you, but expect to pay upwards of $70 to add it to your collection.
