In the fifth season finale of Arrow, fans finally got to see the long-awaited showdown between the new Black Canary and her predecessor's evil Earth Two counterpart Black Siren.

Actors Juliana Harkavy and Katie Cassidy spoke about the confrontation in a new video from The CW to promote the upcoming season premiere of Arrow. Check it out above.

"It was a lot of fun," said Harkavy, who plays the Dinah Drake AKA the Black Canary. "All of the fighting scenes are fun but this one, I feel like it had a lot of build up. Like, everyone wanted it to happen. And then they made it happen."

After Prometheus freed Black Siren from the S.T.A.R. Labs prison and recruited her into his war on Oliver Queen, she kidnapped Dinah Drake and took her to the island of Lian Yu along with other allies in Team Arrow.

Dinah freed her teammates with her sonic scream and the two eventually faced off in the final battle.

"Juliana, she's fantastic," said Cassidy, who plays Laurel Lance AKA Black Siren. "Not only a good actor but she's such a good person."

"I think it's cool to see them together because of their connection that they do have," Harkavy added.

In the series, Harkavy's character took on the mantle of Black Canary after she proved her formidable skills as a fighter, detective, and vigilante to the rest of Team Arrow. She was passed on the title of Black Canary by Laurel's father, Quentin Lance.

During the finale, it looked as if Black Siren was going to get the upperhand. Though they blasted each other with their own Canary Cries, Siren got up quicker and was about to put her opponent down when Quentin came in from behind and knocked her out.

Both actors expressed their desire to see a rematch in the series, which is likely to occur given Cassidy returning to this season as a series regular.

We'll find out how it all goes down when Arrow's sixth season premieres Thursday, October 12 on The CW.
