Fans are now firmly into the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations series, which is the canon spin-off of Naruto, based on the 4th Great Shinobi War. Already, fans have been given a sneak Peek into the future where a teenage Boruto is standing on top of a destroyed Konoha, with the mysterious villain in Kawaki being the culprit.

However, it will be some time before the series catches up to that point, however, fans are hopeful that they will have all their questions answered sooner rather than later. With the series getting more exciting by the episodes, the franchises animator in Chengxi Huang has released a sketch of Boruto as a teenager.

In the sketch, Boruto looks ready for battle holding what appears to be Sasuke's sword and looking so much like his father in Naruto it's scary. Thus far fans have been given little of Boruto as a teenager and so this is the first time in a while that fans have been given new content of Boruto not being a child.
