The new trailer for Black Panther impressed many, including one of the people responsible for bringing Wonder Woman to the big screen.

That would be Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, who had nothing but pleasant things to say after Marvel dropped a new trailer for its upcoming Black Panther project. "Damn. This looks really great and powerful. Gave me chills! Can't wait to see it," Jenkins said.

Black Panther truly seems to be a breath of fresh air in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, much like Wonder Woman was to the DC film universe. Much of both is expected, and so far the footage seen from Black Panther indicates it will deliver.

The newest trailer featured much more of the Panther in action, including one stylish sequence on the city streets as Klaw and Kilmonger attempt to get away. Black Panther dodges an exploding car twice during this scene, one of which is destroyed by Klaw's trademark sonic disruptor. Panther then jumps and runs up a building, using it to volley off of to land on the side of the vehicle where he proceeds to shred the driver's side front tire.

So yeah, it's impressive.

Wakanda is a technological marvel, something that director Ryan Coogler highlights throughout the footage seen thus far. As the jet enters Wakandan airspace (throughout multiple layers of a protective shield mind you), you truly get the sense that this place is something altogether different, something Coogler credits to "weird combinations".

"But I also think that this movie has a lot of weird combinations," Coogler said. "We're dealing with a guy who's royal, like Thor, but he's from Earth, which changes things. It gives it context and grounds it in a way. Even though we're doing a lot of fantastical elements, fantastical technology, it still kind of grounds it in a way that's very unique. So you have these things that are working at opposite ends."

Fans can take this amazing world in when Black Panther hits theaters on February 16, 2018.
