In preparation of The Walking Dead's 100th episode, AMC will be airing a "Behind The Dead" special on Thurday night.

The Season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead will air on Sunday night, marking a 100 episodes milestone for the AMC zombie drama. Where Season 7 had a "Journey So Far" hour-long special airing the Sunday prior to its premiere, Season 8 will have "Behind The Dead" airing three days prior to its debut.

"Past and present cast members participating include Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lennie James, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Danai Gurira and Melissa McBride."

Following Behind The Dead, AMC will continue its The Walking Dead marathon with the Season 4 finale "A" and the Season 5 premiere, "No Sanctuary."
